Refuge 139 was great! The kids learned how to “mine for riches of the character of God” like how He is faithful, Creator, immutable, omnipresent, omnipotent, omniscient, and truthful. Every day, a hero of the faith visited telling us how they experienced God’s attributes amidst great challenges. We had fun doing crafts and playing games, but I seriously gotta work on my 4-square skills! It was a blessing to connect with the kids’ parents (translators serving in sensitive countries) and learn how we might serve them better in training and technology. Thanks to all who prayed for and supported me on this trip! It was long, but I believe God used it mightily.
I just published the first of 10 online courses on basic translation techniques helping mother-tongue translators and other language helpers who do not have a background in linguistics. I enjoy working with expert linguists who provide the course framework. Pray the courses can be published quickly.
