Demand for Online Training

Wycliffe trains missionaries in aviation, intercultural communication, technology, and more. Loren guides trainers in starting online training sites and converting their PowerPoints and PDFs into courses with assignments, quizzes, and certificates of completion.

It's great to connect online with colleagues around the globe, but hopefully, we will meet in person again soon. Please pray as travel opportunities open up.

Urgent Staffing Needs

5 of 15 JAARS Clinic staff members were in quarantine over the holidays. We’ve almost had to close the clinic. Please pray for our staff's health and more providers, nurses, and administrators to serve our patients' needs. Night at the Alphabet Museum

On March 11, statues come alive in our museum including a Peruvian headhunter, Chief Tariri. 😮 We'll train you to be a security guard and you'll hear stories of Bible translation you wouldn't normally hear. Go to jaars.org/natm for times and other dates in April, May, and June.

Passport to Missions

Kids 6-12 and their adults are invited September 23 or 24 to learn about cultures and missions in China, Kenya, and Vanuatu. We will show you how JAARS trains and prepares missionaries. See jaars.org/events for times and details. Please pray for the participants to have a great time and think about how God is calling them to participate in His kingdom work.

Loren's family met Ed and Beth Wright in 1972 while living in Maine, but lost touch after moving. We reconnected in 2010 to tell them we'd joined Wycliffe. Surprisingly, Beth said they never stopped praying for our family almost every day since meeting us. We are incredibly grateful for you and people like the Wrights who talk to God on our behal

Holidays and family gatherings are better with Loren's Mom and Michelle's parents in Waxhaw.

Loren’s Dad flew us to his home in CA for a special Thanksgiving. His birthday was two weeks ago, and despite great distances, dozens of family members made a video montage to celebrate the blessings God has brought us through him.

Matthew (23) and Zack (22) live together and enjoy apartment life in Charlotte. Matthew does tech support for Allstate. Zack is welding at FabFours and pursuing an engineering degree. Pray for their walk with the Lord and that He would be glorified in their lives.
