La teoría de la Adquisición de un idioma. 

Les quiero comentar sobre el método de aprendizaje de idiomas llamado adquirir información comprensible desarrollado por el profesor Stephen Krashen y apoyado por el políglota Steve Kaufmann.  Ambos han descubierto que la mejor manera de poder aprender idiomas es a través de la comprensión, o sea, la escucha y lectura constante del idioma meta. Ellos utilizan cualquier recurso que les interesen, ya sean

 libros, cuentos, podcasts, videos, programas de televisión, películas, series y más. La escucha, la lectura y  la repetición de palabras en diferentes contextos permiten obtener una gran cantidad de vocabulario. Con el tiempo, podrán producir en el idioma meta, o sea, hablarán y escribirán en el idioma meta muy bien. 

¡Increíble cierto! Si quieren aprender más sobre el tema les comparto un episodio del podcast del políglota Steve Kaufmann, en el cual vas a poner en práctica la teoría de adquisición de un idioma. Finalmente, les muestro mi proceso utilizando la teoría para poder adquirir el francés escuchando, leyendo y traduciendo el libro del Principito con un pequeño video de YouTube que está debajo de esta descripción. Además, en el video les enseño como escuchar audios de libros en pdf con Adobe Acrobat en el teléfono y  como adquirir el español, con libros gratuitos en español, con audios en español, en pdf y traducidos al inglés. Ciertamente, con este video tendrán los pasos para aprender español y cualquier otro idioma que les interese con esta teoría de la adquisición,  y espero pongan en práctica estos consejos. 

I want to talk about the language learning method called Comprehensible Input developed by Professor Stephen Krashen and supported by the polyglot Steve Kaufmann. Both of them have discovered that the best way to learn languages is by comprehension, in other words listening and reading constantly in the target language. They use any resource they are interested either books, short stories, podcasts, videos, T.V. programs, movies, series, and beyond. Listening, reading, and word repetition in different contexts allow them to learn a lot of vocabulary.  Over time, they will be able to produce in the target language, in other words, they will speak and write in the target language very well.

Besides, in the video, I teach you how to listen to audiobooks in PDF with Adobe Acrobat on your phone and how to acquire Spanish with free Spanish books, with Spanish audio, in PDF, and translated into English. Indeed, with this video, you have the steps to learn Spanish and any other language with help of this acquisition theory. Truly, I hope you put into practice these pieces of advice.  

Práctica para la teoría de la adquisición de un idioma. 

La teoría de la adquisición de un idioma se trata de aprender con recursos que sean interesantes para uno. Por tal motivo, les presento cuatro documentos para poner en practica esta teoría con recursos como cuentos, novelas, series y películas, y episodios de podcast. Cada documento cuenta con recursos en línea como enlaces de páginas webs, biblioteca en línea, podcasts en YouTube y Spotify. También, cada documento da recomendaciones para poder practicar esta teoría de la adquisición de un idioma eficientemente. Finalmente, estos documentos incluyen preguntas antes y después de escuchar y leer los recursos para poder escribir y charlar sobre estos con amigos, compañeros de clase, tutores y profesores en el idioma español. Ciertamente, espero les agrade estos documentos hechos con mucha paciencia, amor y dedicación. 

Language Acquisition Theory is about learning with resources that are interesting for oneself. For that reason, I show you four sheets to put into practice this theory with resources like short stories, novels, series and movies, and podcast episodes. Every sheet has online resources such as websites, online library, podcasts on YouTube and Spotify links. Also, every document gives recommendations to be able to practice this language acquisition theory efficiently. Finally, these sheets include questions before and after listening and reading resources to be able to write and have a conversation about those with friends, classmates, tutors and teachers in the Spanish language.
