Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure

Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure (Tangled: The Series in the first season) is an American hand-drawn animated musical fantasy television series that premiered on Disney Channel on March 10, 2017 as a movie, and began airing regular episodes from March 24, 2017. It is based on Disney's 2010 computer-animated film Tangled, directed by Nathan Greno and Byron Howard. It takes place between the original movie and the short Tangled Ever After.

A 21st-century framing story featuring Nilan Punzalan Pradep, Maleek Bautista, Ronaldo Kealani, and Heloise Szekely, who enlists as an initiate with the Hunters (or the Monster Hunter) in order to assist them in finding the corpse of Élise de la Serre, Arno Dorian, and King Frederic of Corona, follows Rapunzel's Tangled Adventure, the predecessor of Assassin's Creed Unity, Assassin's Creed Rogue, and Assassin's Creed III.

Princess Rapunzel struggles to fit in because of her father's unwavering protection six months after she and her biological parents, King Frederic and Queen Arianna of Corona, escaped Mother Gothel. Rapunzel's long blonde hair is magically restored when she and her handmaiden Cassandra sneak out of the castle and find some magical black rock spikes. Rapunzel, Cassandra, and the young alchemist Varian also solve the mystery of Rapunzel's hair's return and how it relates to the black rocks growing around Corona. In the end, Rapunzel discovers that Sundrop Flower possesses a form of Piece of Eden, a potent artifact of divinity, and that the black rocks are what lead her to the Dark Kingdom.

The primary plot revolves around Assassin Arno Dorian's attempts to uncover the real forces driving the French Revolution while exacting revenge on those accountable for the assassination of his adopted father and Queen Arianna's deception. The action takes place in Paris between 1789 and 1794. The Monster Hunter's opponents, the Templars and Assassins, imprison Arianna in the Bastille. There, she makes friends with Warren Anthony Pierre, a fellow prisoner who remembers her as a long-lost best friend from the Corona Kingdom and who is Basque. As the Hidden Saviors flee after the Storming of the Bastille, Pierre extends an invitation to Arianna to join them.
