Este proyecto consiste en la realización de unas actividades colaborativas y la creación final de un libro / revista digital en inglés y español sobre el tema de la ciudadanía digital, el utilizo responsable de la red, de los aparatos digitales y de las web aplicaciones, el tema de la privacy y de las fake news para desarrollar la competencia digital de los estudiantes. De esta manera se trabaja el tema eTwinning 2021 “Media Literacy and Disinformation” y se contribuye al estudio y al trabajo del objetivo 4.7 educación de calidad.

This project consists of carrying out collaborative activities and the final creation of a digital book / magazine in English and Spanish on the subject of digital citizenship, the responsible use of the network, digital devices and web applications, the privacy and fake news issues to develop students' digital competence. In this way, the eTwinning 2021 theme “Literacy and media disinformation” is worked on and it contributes to the study and work of objective 4.7 about quality education.

OBJETIVOS DEL PROYECTO

AIMS of the project

Estimular la creatividad artística de los estudiantes
Mejorar la producción y comprensión escrita en lengua española y lengua inglesa
Aprender a utilizar el TwinSpace y algunas herramientas digitales
Aprender las reglas que regulan el comportamiento de los usuarios de las redes sociales y de la web
Conocer y comparar las costumbres digitales de los adolescentes participantes en el proyecto
Aprender a ser un ciudadano digital competente
Aprender a reconocer noticias falsas en el web
Conocer algunas canciones europeas que reflexionan sobre el tema de la ciudadanía digital
Conocer a nuevos amigos de toda Europa
Reactivar la motivación en el aprendizaje de las lenguas extranjeras (inglés español) concretizado en un proyecto real que necesite su empleo, ya que será la única lengua de comunicación común.

Cuando los alumn@s ya tenían conciencia plena del tema del trabajo y de sus socios colaboradores, se les propuso crear un logo acorde al proyecto.

Dibujaron varios y luego sus diseños se sometieron a votación para elegir el mejor.

De este modo entre todos salió elegido el logo con el que todos se sentían identificados.

Once the students had reflected on the topic and had known about their collaborating partners, they had to create a logo in keeping with the project.

Students were responsible for the design and creativity involved in the logo, but they had to follow some instructions. Then, the students from all the countries voted their favourite logo. This way, the logo of the project was selected by the students themselves.

En las diversas reuniones de las profesor@s colaborador@s europe@s, es donde se ha planeado minuciosamente los pasos a seguir para obtener los mejores resultados de este proyecto. Parece increíble la cantidad de ideas constructivas que se pueden llevar a cabo a través de la red. ¡Somos un gran equipo!

In the European teachers' meetings, the steps to be taken in order to get the best results from this project were carefully planned. It seems incredible how many constructive ideas can be implemented through the network - we are a great team!

UN AVATAR PARA CADA ALUMN@

Debido a los derechos de imagen y privacidad, los estudiantes suelen presentarse a sus compañeros europeos a través de avatares.

En este caso, los estudiantes crearon primero su avatar individualmente y luego crearon el de toda la clase usando Pixton. Los estudiantes se describieron en varias lenguas (español-inglés) y haciendo clic encima de cada avatar, se podía ver la descripción que cada uno de ell@ había escrito.

AN AVATAR FOR EACH STUDENT

Due to image rights and image protection, students usually introduce themselves to the students from other countries using avatars.

First, the students created their avatar individually and, then, created their own class with avatars digitally. The students described themselves in different languages, so when they clicked on each of the avatars, they could see the other students' descriptions. Pixton was a good tool to know their partners.

UNA CANCIÓN PARA EL PROYECTO

Con la finalidad de ir construyendo lazos en común entre los estudiantes de todos los países, se propusieron varias canciones relacionadas con la competencia digital o internet. Los estudiantes votaron su canción favorita, comentaron en equipos colaborativos el vocabulario y el tema de la canción ganadora y, finalmente, cantaron la canción juntos. A SONG FOR THE PROJECT

In order to build common bonds between the students from all the countries involved, several songs related to the digital competence or the internet were proposed by the students. After that, students voted their favourite song, the vocabulary and theme of the selected song were discussed in collaborative teams and, finally, students sang the song together. The poster above shows some activities in English and Spanish, and the result of their word clouds thanks to the use of 2.0 tools.

Para celebrar el Día de Internet Segura, los estudiantes vieron algunos vídeos y pósters sobre netiquetta, las normas de conducta requeridas para ser un buen explor@dor en la red.

El póster muestra nubes de palabras que elaboraron sobre los usos adecuados de las herramientas 2.0.

COLLABORATIVE WORD CLOUDS

In order to celebrate the Safer Internet Day, students watched some videos and posters about netiquette, the internet behaviour rules required to become a good explorer on the web.

FAKE NEWS

Para trabajar uno de los aspectos más preocupantes del mal uso de internet se pidió a los alumnos que crearan noticias, alguna falsas (fakenews) y otras verdaderas sobre temas de cultura, gastronomía, etc. Aprovechamos nuestro segundo encuentro para comprobar si los alumnos de los diferentes países detectaban las noticias falsas a través de un concurso.

FAKE NEWS

The students continued learning about the dangers on the internet and watched some videos and conferences about the topic. Then, they had to do an activity to have some practice. Each country had to write some real news and some fake news and the other students had to know whether they were real or not. This was our second online meeting in the classroom so we had the opportunity to run an online contest.

Los alumnos trabajaron en colaboración para definir cuales eran algunos de los usos positivos y negativos de internet. Para poder trabajar, las profesoras crearon grupos internacionales de trabajo, y los alumnos usaron Canva para compartir sus ideas y elaborar sus listas.

POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE ASPECTS ON THE WEB

Our students worked collaboratively with their partners on the project in order to define which were some of the positive and negative uses on the internet. To be able to work together, the teachers created international working teams, and the students used Canva to share their ideas and create their lists.
