A group of 2 teachers, Helena Cardoso and Nuno Mota, and 4 students, Lara Pereira, Adriana Borges, Maria Inês Ribeiro and Guilherme Monteiro, headed to Finland in an Erasmus+ activity in Kuopio, where the group was warmly welcomed and took part in some very interesting activities during the week. The students stayed with host families, who gave them a warm welcome, and the opportunity to experience the Finnish way of life directly. The programme included not only activities at school, but also cultural visits and participation in a variety of sporting activities, including ice skating, skiing and swimming in the municipal swimming pools, which are the largest in Finland. In addition to these activities, they also had the chance to try out the sauna followed by a dip in the icy waters of a lake. It was undoubtedly a unique experience that will remain in their memories for the rest of their lives. We thank Erasmus+ for giving us unforgettable experiences!
