1. Description


An EPICES student has a scientific attitude and uses a systematic approach.

When necessary, he can develop and implement the appropriate theories and models and can provide coherent interpretations.

Next to this he possesses insight into the specific nature of science and technology.


To achieve this learning goal during an EPICES project a student should:


  • Have a scientific attitude that is characterised by creativity, curiosity and a desire to learn for life.
  • Use a systematic and holistic approach known for its development and use of theories, models and coherent interpretations.
  • Possess insight into the specific character and technology of his field of study.
  • Possess insight into the scientific practices of his field of study.
