1. Description

An EPICES student has the competence to work with and for others.

This requires adequate interaction, a sense of responsibility, leadership and being able to communicate well with fellow scientists and professional partners.

To achieve this learning goal during an EPICES project a student should:

• Possess insight into the dynamics of a group and be able to collaborate professionally in a (multi-)disciplinary team.
• Be able to communicate in writing about his learning, thinking, research and design with fellow scientists and professional partners.
• Be able to communicate verbally about his learning, thinking, research and design with fellow scientists and professional partners.
• Be able to collaborate in an international multi-campus environment.
• Be able to deal with social and cultural differentiation when working in an international and cross-culture context.
• Be able to build and maintain an academic and professional network.
