1. Description

Next to doing research, EPICES students will also design.

A designer is able to bring together an innovatory and multidisciplinary design in a design plan and is able to carry out the set design plan.

To achieve this learning goal during an EPICES project a student should:

• Be able to design an item based on set demands and wishes in a realistic, quality-focussed and safe way.
• Possess the necessary creativity and innovation to design successfully.
• Be able to draw up a structured design plan.
• Be able to carry out the set design plan.
• Be able to incorporate a multidisciplinary approach in the design process.
• Be able to deal with the changeability of the design process during the project.
