In TravelC you can upload 3 types of insurance:
Cancellation: It allows the user the possibility to cancel the service without any costs.
Mandatory (compulsory): When uploading a compulsory insurance, the user that makes a reservation wont be able to delete the insurance. During the quote process in the Front, the price of the insurance will be already included.
Optional: It has a higher coverage than the compulsory insurance and its not added by default. The user can select it voluntarily.
In Contracts > Insurance Parameters, you can upload as many insurances as you need ( the prices will vary according to date ranges, visited countries and reservation flow)
Microsites. If we want to share a contract to another Microsite we will select the desired contract and by clicking on "Microsites" we will be able to share it.
Delete. A contract can be deleted directly from this button.
New insurance configuration. To create a new insurance contract, click here.
Add insurance logo. This button is used to add a logo to an insurance.
Columns: To filter the columns you want.
Options. To edit the data of a contract or duplicate it.
Basic data tab
Indicate an insurance policy name
Indicate an insurance policy number
Choose which type of insurance:
4. Choose a supplier
5. To which service providers apply (choose the amount needed). If no provider is selected, insurance will be available for all providers.
6. Ban from service supplier: you can choose to ban the insurance for some suppliers.
If no contract supplier is selected, insurance will be available for all contract suppliers
7. Target nationalities (if needed).
If no country is selected, insurance will be available for all nationalities
8. Add a description and voucher remarks, if necessary.
9. Choose the trip type (or booking engine) in which this insurance will appear. Choose at least one.
10. Add an image (optional) to appear in the results.
Next tab is Term file. This tab is used to enter additional documents.
Click on ''new file'' to upload a document.
Microsites to apply tab. In this section you can assign to which Microsites you want the contract to be applied in case you have more than one.
Cancellation policies tab. Here we will enter the cancellation fees. Create your own cancellation policies:
Seasons tab: You can indicate the different seasons among which you want to divide the price of your insurance, if there are price differences.
Once you have defined the seasons, in the rates tab, you can define the price that each season will have:
When clicking edit, the page shows all the price sections to select:
Choose the season, and then press ''Update'' to save changes.
In the trip price range section we can specify the minimum and maximum value of the total value of the trip so that the rates configured for that fare are the ones that apply to the value of the insurance.
The total price of the trip will always be specified per person.
The system will allow you to create more than one fare per season, so that you can configure different fares with different price ranges for the same season.
In the Front, the end client can see and add the insurance at the final stage of the reservation before proceding to filling in the payment details:
By clicking on "+Activate Insurances", the available options for this reservation will be displayed as you can see in the following image:
By clicking on the right button, we will activate the insurance and the insurance will appear in green. The amount will automatically be added to the total price of the trip.
