The Panting Dog Sound "h"

Learn how to say the soundh with Ms. Cara, a Speech-Language Pathologist at the ECLC. The "h" sound is produced by making puffs of air at the back of the mouth. Have your child pretend to pant like a dog to make this sound. Once they can say “h” by itself, have them try saying the following words slowly by stretching out the “h”: “hot,” “home,” “hand,” and “hug.”
