Any low frequency positive deflections (notching or slurring) above the level of the ST segment at the J point
J waves are distinct from the J point (2 completely different and unrelated events)
Classically seen in early repolarization, hypercalcemia, hypothermia (Osborne waves), and Brugada syndrome
