Looking at my own creative traits, I know that my capacity to think creatively and customize technology to fit the developmental stages of young children will contribute significantly to my teaching ability in promoting creativity, creative thinking, and innovation. I am committed to developing stimulating, interactive experiences that integrate technology with play-based learning. My creative strategy allows me to harmoniously combine digital means and physical materials, for example, applying tablets together with physical toys or building blocks to ensure that kids work with technology and the physical world.
I also believe in making children independent creators. By exposing them to age-suitable technologies such as coding software or digital art software, I allow children to try, discover, and learn by making mistakes, which helps develop a growth mindset. This not only develops their creative thinking but also their ability to cope with failures.
Also, I know the value of offering varied experiences that suit different learning styles. My goal is to make technology approachable, enjoyable, and meaningful for every child, whether using interactive applications, digital storytelling platforms, or basic robotics. With this goal, I am ensuring that I am building critical thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy capacities. Finally, my innovative way of applying technology will encourage young children to think creatively and acquire competencies that will be useful in their entire learning process.
