Following are three new innovative activities for toddlers to build creativity in **engineering**:
**0-2 Years: "Shape and Stack"**
- Offer large, soft, textured shapes (squares, circles, triangles) to stack and build independently. This easy exercise lets them work on balance, spatial awareness, and the beginnings of structure, building awareness of engineering principles in hands-on and sensorially rich ways.
**2-3 Years: "Ramp and Roll"**
- Build a miniature ramp with cardboard and small items (toy cars, blocks, balls). Get children to roll the items down the ramp and observe how different materials behave. The activity can be employed to introduce children to slope, movement, and fundamental physical concepts within a play environment.
**3-5 Years: "Recycled Robot Construction
- Offer recyclable items like bottle caps, cardboard tubes, and buttons. Have students create and develop their own "robots" or other devices using engineering principles like structure, design, and operation. This entails problem-solving and creativity as well as construction hands-on skills(Blank & Lynch, 2018).
