Lives high up on the far side of the mountain

• Wanted to be as far from foot traffic and light pollution as possible

Works in astrophotography and wildlife photography, very well known and respected in his field for his images and shots appearing in publications and documentaries. His work certainly doesn't feel like work to him

• Out of these two, astrophotography is his true passion and the reason he relocated to the mountains

Definitely more of a "slightly eccentric recluse" mountain cet than a rough and rugged one- has most of his food and necessities delivered every other week or so in order to spend more time on work and hobbies

Not against going into town when he needs to! Polaris is actually a sucker for the little local fairs and such; he loves hand-made items.

Very thick fur allows him to stay warm in most conditions but he loves piling on the clothes anyways- if he's comfortable to begin with then the extra protection should make him extra cozy

Revels in the theatricality of his lifestyle just a little as a treat

Won't admit that the northern lights nearly move him to tears
