Dustin
Leader of a large pack controlling a large territory
Dustin is a bold, prideful viscet- says what he thinks, does what he wants within reason, talks to new acquaintances as if he's known them for years, and can hardly force himself to give a damn about what others think of him
Not an awful guy though- you'll never have to worry about what Dustin thinks of you since you'll already know, and his energy is invigorating
Surprisingly diplomatic when it comes to inter-pack talks and negotiations, knows how to get what he wants without pushing too far
Ruthlessly protective of his pack and takes any attack on a member as an attack on himself. As leader he knows he has a duty to protect every packmate and he takes in incredibly seriously. He is trusted as an alpha and has a reputation among other packs as being a wonderful neighbor unless you've wronged him.
Complicated relationship with Silver - they obviously love each other but both seem to fear commitment, leading them to be on/off mates and for Silver's position as alpha female unclear to most. Regardless, He holds much respect for her and trusts her as his co-leader
Relationships:
Kodiak- among the first two to join Dustin's pack, Kodiak had previously owned a small territory bordering Dustin's. Being the pacifist she is, Kodiak had sought Dustin's assistance when her territory was threatened by a competing rival. Dustin extended an offer to Kodiak- that he would help her if she would join him to form a pack, and let him take her territory. Having interacted few times priory, Kodiak took the offer with some reservations. Dustin had chased out the offending intruders and welcomed Kodiak into his newly formed pack. They work well together and Dustin goes to Kodiak for many decisions, her and Marcel being his main "advisors" and most trusted friends. Dustin appreciates all that Kodiak does as a healer, and Kodiak acknowledges Dustin as a competent pack leader and alpha.
Marcel- Marcel and Dustin had known each other in their childhood, and while not close friends they were raised in the same pack before both eventually leaving to establish their own territories. As luck would have it, they chanced upon each other again as adults and reconnected. Marcel had grown into what Dustin describes as a "perfect co-ruler", and easily took on the role of the beta once agreeing to join his pack. His smarts have proven invaluable to his pack time and time again, and He and Dustin have an immense amount of respect for each other, in spite of their many differences.
***Silver - (mother of Dustin's son I hope to soon submit a batch for) on/off mate, female alpha of the pack but not his mate in spite of the fact that they have a son.
Lucine and Serafina- Dustin thinks well of both sisters, but take amusement in how different they are. He had actually initially had a small crush on Lucine, taking her affinity for physical contact to heart. He admires her ability to stay relaxed even when overwhelmed, and her optimism. Since most of his pack sleeps in the same den, Dustin often wakes to Lucine draped across him or curled around a limb of his. Serafina was a bit of a tough one for him at first. After Serafina met Marcel through Lucine, the two somehow managed to click- ironic, seeing as how stern Marcel was and how unruly she was. After they became mates, however, Serafina still saw no reason to follow Dustin's lead, and insisted on a fight. It wasn't until Dustin finally obliged, and beat her with a struggle, the he won her seal of approval and confidence. Serafina promptly submitted to Dustin and admitted to his dominance. Over all, Dustin respects both sisters and is glad to have them in his pack.
