Modern AU

Run of the mill modern AU I suppose 

Not all of these groups know each other, just live in the same world.

Folk / Magic AU

Gods, deities, and spirits are widely accepted as existing. Magic is a known element, but not everyone can wield it. Magical ability varies in strength and form, and ability is roughly hereditary but it depends largely on innate power and/or training. There are not many large “cities” most settlements have less than 500 residents and are widely spaced. There is no real electricity, and very little coal or steam power. Kind of a fantasy AU without fantastical beasts (most "beasts" aren’t much larger than a small house) or royalty, story/writing-wise this AU will be focused mainly on one town/settlement. The gods of the seasons are the highest powers in this AU.

Wilds / Feral AU

The world is in a natural state and and has little to no infrastructure. Viscets often live in family groups, packs, clans, in pairs, or as loners. Anywhere life is found is likely to be inhabited by viscets as well, (land, air, sea, you name it) Most smaller groups have little organization while larger ones tend to have an official leader or alpha.
