Refugee of a war between two kingdoms, has settled and found a new life in the town, far away from either kingdoms

Jasper and their mate were all each other had, and relied heavily on each other to get by while searching for a new home; through injury, stress, and illness they loved, cared, and fought for each other

... But nothing gold can stay- Jasper's mate passed away after getting caught in the crossfire of a battle

• Having had been a mage himself, Jasper's mate turned the last of his energy into a spirit, intending for it to become their guardian

• The snake spirit that he created is only semi-sentient but is linked to Jasper's emotions, usually reacts defensively when they're feeling scared/unsafe

For the most part Jasper tries to ignore/block out their past and focuses on living in the present

Has no magic ability but has a vast knowledge on magic

Keeps themself very busy, does lots of odd jobs, mostly works a the local tavern
