I am incredibly grateful for Megan from Doula at Hart. Megan’s services are not just for first-time moms. Megan helped me prepare for the birth of my fourth child and helped take care of ME during the first few months after delivery. As busy new mothers, we sometimes forget to take care of ourselves mentally, physically, and emotionally. Megan took the stress out of motherhood and allowed me to focus on bonding with my new baby. Bringing a new baby into the family is a life-changing experience, and the adjustment period is intense. In the past, I have struggled with breastfeeding, utter exhaustion, and in my third baby postpartum depression/anxiety. Megan helped ease any new baby fears I had and was always filled with research based advice and information. With Megan’s help this was my first baby that I was able to successfully breastfeed and just truly enjoy. She helped put everything into place so I could cherish that 3am cuddle.

Megan gave me lifesaving tips and tools to use directly after labor...which was my greatest time of need! She was available and helpful to me when I had a postpartum infection during the pandemic. My regular midwives were hesitant to see me and she was there for me! While she specializes in postpartum, she was also extremely helpful throughout my pregnancy. She offered support and resources in case I had a need!

Megan is an incredible human being! Her heart is full of love, kindness, sincerity, and always puts others above herself. She has been such a blessing to mothers in our community, including myself.
