摘要:

     由於資訊網路的飛越發展以及科技產品日新月異,人們的生活有了碩大的改變。與教科書相較之下,現今的學生更傾向於使用行動裝置進行學習;也因此,使用行動裝置輔助語言學習明顯地改變了傳統式語言教學。本研究的目的是透過使用LINE應用程式作為輔助工具,增進國小六年級生的英語學習成效。本實驗使用準實驗法進行,由總數30人的六年級生參與為期12週的實驗,參與者分成對照組(男生七人、女生八人)與實驗組(男生七人、女生八人)。研究工具包含前測、後測、學習成果調查問卷及訪談。經過數據分析後得知相較於傳統教學方式,使用行動裝置輔助進行英語練習對學生的學習成效有著顯著的進步。

Abstract:

The rapid growth of information technology has driven the dramatic changes in our life style with innovative information technology (IT) products and Internet applications nowadays. Comparing with textbooks, students prefer learning with these mobile devices (Liu, 2010). However, mobile assisted language learning (MALL) has significantly transformed the form of language teaching and learning. The purpose of this study aims to explore the six graders’ English achievements through using LINE App as an auxiliary tool after school. A total of 30 sixth grade elementary students participated in a 12-week experiment. All participants were divided into control group (8 females, 7 males) and experiment group (8 females, 7 males). Data was collected from a pre-test, a post test, a survey questionnaire on learning achievement, and interviews. The major findings of the study reveal that using mobile-assisted English examination questions solving contrast to the traditional method has a positive effect on the experimental group students’ achievement.
