The company is specialized in health system strengthening, public health supply chain, capacity building and learning, and digital solutions for health. We operate as a think-tank and aim to improve the health status and well-being of people in Low- and Middle-income countries in Asia Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East. We mainly collaborate with development partners/sponsors (UNICEF, WHO, Gavi), governments, training institutions, etc. 

Job description: 

The IT Project Manager is essential in the competitive code development industry. He/She is in charge of managing front-end, back-end, full-stack, or software development teams, along with keeping track of the project’s progress and communicating efficiently to clients to understand their requirements and explain them to developers.

Responsibilities

• Manage project activities for multiple projects across all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure;

• Define project scope and objectives;

• Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports;

• Ensure software development standards and practices are followed;

• Identify and resolve risks, issues, and conflicts to ensure quality control throughout the project life cycle;

• Facilitate project status meetings and provide regular updates to project stakeholders;

• Take part in the talent selection process for the company as a functional interviewer, and take the initiative in improving reporting, processes, workflow, and outcomes.

• Project Scale: 3 apps

• Team size: 3

• Years of experience: minimum of 5 years, but the candidate can also be a current dev (with 5 years of experience) who wants to transition to PM.

• IT (Software or Information System) graduation from university or equivalent;

• At least 5 years of experience in information technology with at least 1 year of IT Project Management experience;

• Experience in traditional project management as well as Agile methods (Scrum, XP, or Kanban);

• Knowledge of Software Engineering best practices, Software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations;

• Proven experience in project estimation, budget control, people management, and risk management;

• Fluent in English to communicate directly with onshore and clients;

• Excellent knowledge of English

• Knowledge of Front-end, Back-end, and Mobile App development language;

• French proficiency is a plus; enterprise experience in large accounts is preferred.
