There a couple interesting activities during this course. I liked the Elevator speech, for one. The other one I am posting is one I liked, but I am not happy with the ability to share it. I have tried downloading it or using the copy link, but it is not cooperating. When I tried downloading it 6 or 8 times, the colors were off or the formatting changed. When I copy to try and add it to my site, it doesn't recognize it. So, I had to take a photo of it, upload it, download it and add it to my site. A lot of work for something. THAT is a lot of pressure for one assignment. Hopefully it can live up to the pressure.
Okay, so after all that build up, my SA is just a "poster" I created using Adobe Spark. The assignment was from the Workshop on Mobile Learning with Jody Green. One of my takeaways was the importance of having our students be the creators...not just consumers. This is not the first or only time I have heard this, but it resonates with me and my teaching. Something I want to keep in mind for my learners.
We got a chance to look at a few different tools and the assignment was to pick one and create something. I picked Adobe Spark because many folks have been talking about it. I liked some of the handling of pictures and text; the ease of moving things around. The interface seemed very fluid to me.
I was able to create this poster in about 20-30 minutes. If I were working on this for my students, that would likely be FAR too much time for me to keep coming back to this tool. However, this also included some time playing around with the tools, because I was having computer issues earlier. I could see some value in letting students create a learning poster. I am even considering that for next week in class. (maybe with Spark or just Slides- or a choice).
I, again, enjoyed the CUE workshops this time. I am a little sad to be nearing the ending of this program.

Sorry about the grainy-ness.
