Canva* - Canva is a graphic-design tool website that uses a drag-and-drop format and provides access to over a million photographs, graphics, and fonts.
Canvas for Chrome - Canvas is a simple and easy-to-use online drawing too for drawing, annotating, and diagramming with the added bonus of saving yourwork automatically in your Google Drive.
Cospaces* - CoSpaces Edu is an application that allows students and teachers to easily build their own 3D creations, animate them with code and explore them in Virtual or Augmented Reality. Video.
Data GIF Maker - Powered by Google News Lab, this stunning tool creates colorful gifs from data, helping you turn your data analysis into a dramatic presentation.
Diigo - Diigo allows you to collect, annotate, and organize web pages and PDFs on the internet, and share them with students and colleagues. My favorite feature is adding sticky notes to the internet.
FlipGrid - Flipgrid is video discussion tool that allows teachers to create “grids,” of discussion topics. Students share their responses through recorded videos. Use this tool to encourage student voice, engage students, or connect and collaborate globally through their #GridPals program. Video.
Glogster* - With Glogster, you can make multimedia interactive posters and where students can express ideas with ease by combining images, graphics, audio, video and text on one digital canvas. Video.
Google Slides - Google Slides is Google's versatile presentation tool that allows users to create and edit with others at the same time. Get stuff done with or without an internet connection. Use Slides to edit PowerPoint files. Find out more here. Find some templates here.
HP Reveal* - HP Reveal (formerly known as Aurasma) turns any object, image, or place into an augmented reality experience.
Jamboard - Jamboard is Google's answer to an interactive smartboard. It allows you to sketch your ideas whiteboard-style while benefiting from the access and connectivity of an interactive canvas. Drop images, add notes, and pull assets directly from the web while collaborating with team members from anywhere. Video.
Lino - Lino is an online stickies app that lets you add sticky notes to the internet. Premium feature let you do more. Video.
Live Binders* - LiveBinders helps you or your students organize resources in an online ebinder. Video.
Nearpod* - Nearpod is an interactive presentation tool with lots of cool bells and whistles that help teachers assess and individualize instruction. Teachers can use it to create interactive lessons that contain quizzes, polls, videos, images, drawing-boards, web content and more, as well as use their “Nearpod Collaborate!” tool. Video.
Padlet - Padlet is a digital tool that allows you to create collaborative “walls.” I like to think of it like a digital bulletin board with digital sticky notes, but way better. Students can post just about anything–images, videos, documents, and text–from anywhere, and from any device (pcs, tablets, phones). Video.
Peardeck* - Pear Deck is an active learning and formative assessment tool that makes your presentations completely interactive! Pear Deck is fully loaded with templates for each stage of the assessment process, vocabulary games, Google tool integration, and helps teachers engage students and create collaborative conversations. Popplet* - A virtual mind-mapping tool that lets you organize and sort images, text, and symbols. Students can capture facts, thoughts, and images and learn to create relationships between them. Video.
Prezi* - Prezi is a web-based presentation tool that isn't limited by linear thinking. Add cute animations between ideas and allows you to step back and look at the big picture. Has collaborative and cloudy features. Video.
Seesaw* - Seesaw is a student-driven digital portfolio tool. Teachers can empower students to create, reflect, share, and collaborate. Students “show what they know” using photos, videos, drawings, text, PDFs, and links. Video.
Slides Carnival - Free visually compelling and aesthetically pleasing Powerpoint templates and Google Slides themes for your presentations.
SoundTrapEdu* - Soundtrap Edu is an online music studio where students can create together by recording and using loops. Video.
StorySpheres - StorySpheres is an easy to use tool for enhancing 360-degree images that lets you position audio within a scene, to easily create interactive experiences. If you don't own a 360-degree camera, download the Google Street View App which has a really good 360-camera feature. Video. Here's a sample.
Vocaroo - A free and super simple-to-use online recording service that makes a unique url for all of your your posting and sharing needs.
Wordle* - Wordle is a web-based tool for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide.
