This site is meant to encourage and support adolescent literacy and the development of student-centered classrooms through best practices in teaching and technology integration. David taught high school English for over a decade, taking on ninth through twelfth grades including Literacy Support, AVID, ELD, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses. He is a Google for Education Certified Educator and Trainer and has had an original lesson featured on TED-Ed. David now works as a full release Induction mentor and an adjunct lecturer teaching Assessment for Secondary Teachers. He's presented numerous workshops at conferences including the CA Induction Conference, CTA's New Teacher Weekend and Good Teaching conferences.
