ONTL 7201: Course Production Practicum

Introduction

This semester was the completion of everything I worked on for the last two years in the program. There is a course reflection, a certificate program reflection and my assignments all broken down. Introduction to Religious Education.

Course Description

Introduces students to several religious topics to enhance their learning of that subject. Students will enhance their skills by using a variety of online tools to create projects and utilize different learning styles. Students will finish this class understanding subjects they have learned in an expert matter. Logical thinking will be heavily emphasized, and this class will allow students the opportunity to study several subjects in-depth. In addition, they will learn new topics that will make more sense with their expert knowledge of previous subject matter.

These are the learning objectives I created for the entire class. They are found in the syllabus of this class.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course students should be able to:

1. Describe the qualities of what makes a good saint.

2. Apply stories in the Bible to current society.

3. Explain the similarities and differences between each Sacrament.

4. Demonstrate each bead on the Rosary that corresponds to a prayer.

5. Analyze the different roles of each person involved at the church.

6. Critique a mobile app by reflecting on its effectiveness.

7. Define how much they have learned after completing the class.
