Hard to believe that I am already halfway through the online teaching program and I still enjoy it so much. When I first started I was nervous but am so glad I did it. This semester was a bit different though for a variety to reasons. For one thing, we didn't start this class until close to midterm and it felt in a way accelerated. I do not mind that though because I work well with pressure. Having said that, I am so happy we have started working on developing courses. I had a job where that was my responsibility (along with teaching class) so I felt I was in the right environment, I have enjoyed creating a class that I can use for a job. I enjoyed discussing topics such as formative versus summative assessments, rubrics. writing objectives and learning activities. If there was any issue, I would say it was the various group projects where not everyone took this as seriously as me. I have faith though that it will all work out and that my skills are helping me becoming a better trainer than ever before. I look forward to the next classes and using my skills in a positive way for anyone I am teaching.
