What a busy semester! One of the things we got to do this semester was start on a course plan and create a lesson plan. I really enjoyed this because I got to use my skills and put together something that worked. Since I taught religious education in the past I decided to create a class involving religion. I also created a lesson plan and look forward to developing more of them as I go through the program. I first developed the course then took a lesson and expanded it. I added content, activities, objectives and assessment so I can make it both enjoyable and help assess their skills. I used video to create a lesson plan on top of writing it so students will have alternatives to learn. I look forward to next semester and working more in depth. I have included my individual projects here, including discussion posts and blogs. In discussion, we talked about topics that became important for the course, including rubrics, assessment, objectives and everything needed to become great online teachers. In the folders, the first one is my discussion posts, followed by blogs, and finally my individual projects.
