Nouns

A noun is anything that can be named. Nouns are sometimes further subdivided into: common and proper nouns; abstract and concrete nouns.

• Nouns are often articular.

• Nouns perform different functions in a sentence such as subject, object, predicate nominative, or are in apposition to some other noun.

Greek nouns have case.

Hebrew nouns are often in construct.
