Alphabet

Greek:

The Greek alphabet is much like the English alphabet. Use BBG 3.1 or this to learn the pronunciation. video There are twenty-four letters and seven vowels: α, ε, η, ι, ο, υ, ω.

Hebrew:

The Hebrew letters are explained here or here. Some letters are hard to distinguish; others sound alike. Note also the final letter forms. Just as in Greek, the sigma looks like σ in the middle of a word and ς at the end of a word the same is in Hebrew. more

• A כ looks like ך when it is the last letter of a word.

• A מ looks like ם when it is the last letter of a word.

• A נ looks like ן when it is the last letter of a word.

• A פ looks like ף when it is the last letter of a word.

• A צ looks like ץ when it is the last letter of a word.
