Reflexive

A reflexive action is any time we do something to ourselves. A reflexive pronoun is a pronoun that refers back to the subject of the sentence. Note: not the same as an intensive pronoun. Note these sentences:

"I see him." or "She sees you."

The objects are not the same person/thing as the subjects, and regular pronouns are used. However, when the subject is the same as the object, then the reflexive pronoun is used:

"I see myself." or "She sees herself."

Greek:

Reflexive pronouns only occur in the oblique cases. They are formed on the personal pronouns plus αυτος. The following paradigm is the Greek reflexive pronoun:
