In English, the articles are: a, an, the. “a” and “an” are indefinite, and “the” is definite.
Any noun with an article is considered to be articular;
Any noun without an article is anarthrous.
Any noun with an article is also definite.

The article in Hebrew is a ה prefixed to the front of a noun; see here or this video. Sometimes syncope occurs which means the loss of a sound in a word. It is the opposite of epenthesis. A common example is when the Hebrew article disappears when the inseparable preposition is prefixed to a noun. video
