Tense

Tense is a term used to distinguish different categories of verbs into present, past, and future. Tense tells you when the action represented by the verb took place (cf aspect).

Greek:

In Greek, a verb's tense tells you both time and aspect. The major tenses in Greek are:

1. present

2. imperfect

3. future

4. aorist

5. perfect
