Description: For the base I used a pearlized, 4-way stretch fabric. The legs have stirrup footing and the sleeves have thumb-holes to keep from riding up as it is worn throughout the day. An invisible zipper is used in the back. For the chest cover, the same fabric as the base was used and sew-on Velcro runs down the back. The puffy sleeves are made of highly interfaced satin, layered with chiffon to create the desired color/effect. The gloves & boot covers are made of a 2 way stretch knit. McCall's M7217 Pattern was used for the base of the body suit, no other patterns were used. The bell has a Styrofoam ball base and is covered then molded with Model Magic clay and attached using a paperclip and safety pin.

Cosplayer: Silver Lined Cosplay
Character: Bandit Sivir
Photographer: Iona Bruce
Description: The armor pieces and weapon are made from 10 mm/6mm EVA foam and a plethora of other materials - all templates were designed during the build. The boomerang utilizes plastic hangers to hold the form; the blade has two layers of EVA while the handle is carved from three separate layers; the wrap is made from vinyl and is precisely placed in order to highlight the handle’s gems. Due to the malfunction of the dremel all beveling was done by hand. The center contains a ball bearing which allows the blade to spin. The edges are lined with thermal plastic for protection while the gems, dyed resin commissioned from Snowsong Cosplay, were set using hot glue and then protected by thermal plastics. The necklace was free handed using Warbla and each gem was set in place by the thermal plastic. All of the fabric on the arms and legs were sewn from scrap material and the fur trim and other embellishments were added by hand including the elastic armor attachments. Only the basic dress and corset were bought but both were further improved by the addition of the fur trim and changing the lacing and other fasteners on the corset.

Description: My entire outfit was made by me, the brush in my submission was commissioned by Larry C. Collins and Elizabeth Hedrick. The tail was the most time consuming part of this outfit. With it being my first tail, I had to use two panels of cloth to cover it as well as hand stitching. This piece alone totaled 14 hours of work. The foot paws were the next challenging piece of my outfit as they were also another first attempt. I designed four separate toes, two shoe covers, and stuffed/stitched both. The emblem was free handed on a piece of paper, transferred to a piece of foam, tapped down to the lower section of the tabard, and sprayed fabric paint over the foam stencil. I outlined it with black marker. The last piece is the mask. I initially thought to make it out of foam, but after realizing it didn't work, i ended up using the foam template to cast modeling clay over it, thus resulting in a clay mask instead of a foam one. Once it dried, I sanded, drew the designs where I was going to paint, and painted before attaching it to the hat.

Character: 'Small' Might
Photographer: Joellynn Goetz
Description: This is a cosplay that I planned to do for months. Originally, I was hoping to debut this cosplay at DCC 2018, but I ran out of time. Working on the costume's outfit was pretty simple. All I needed to obtain was a solid white t-shirt, a pair of khaki cargo pants I owned, a belt, and a pair of dark sneakers. For the cargo pants, I dyed them green dark green because it was easier than searching for green cargo pants. However, I didn't think it would be easy to make the belt buckle. With the help of a tech assistant and Tinkercad, I went to a library to have it 3D printed first before I painted it gray. Instead of makeup, I bought a mask and painted the entire front with acryllic paints. The wig was the hardest part. I don't wear wigs for a living, and as you can see, I accidentally ruined my wig. Since 'Small' Might's hair is already a mess, I decided to go with what I have.

Character: Hela
Description:
This Hela Cosplay was made using Brevely’s method from DownCreative Studio. This is the second suit made for comfort reasons. It took a total of two months to make the suit and the headdress. The body suit is made of black mesh fabric. To make the details I spent a week constructing mold boxes and another week creating the molds with Dragon Skin silicone and Smooth Cast 300 from Smooth on. Then the details were made with Silcone, castmagic powders and a touch of metallic fabric paint. I also lightly brushed the molds with pearly green cast magic powder to give the details a shine. To attach the details I used sil-poxy. The helmet is made of up layers of 6mm EVA foam and 4mm Eva foam with Worbla on the inside for support and between layers of horns. I also added 3 layers of epsilon pro for protection. Quick note: The swords were made by @PowerLoaderProps and are the only part of the cosplay that was not made by me.
