Notes:
Be sure to check whether the order is the first taxed order. If it is not, emphasize that we cannot compensate the customer according to our policy. We have previously applied for special compensation for the customer and suggested the customer contact the shipping company clearance customs.
Before giving the customer a solution, inform them that according to the policy, all taxes should be paid by the customer. The compensation we apply for her is under the condition of the first tax order, and we inform the customer that the next Cider order may also face customs clearance issues. If there are clearance issues, the customer needs to bear the tax themselves.
If the customer refuses to pay the customs duties, the package may be destroyed by customs due to unpaid taxes, and usually, the package will not be returned to Cider's warehouse. We can check the logistics tracking page or the official website of the logistics company, which shows that this package has been refused to pay customs duties or has been rejected by the customer. Then we can apply for a refund to the customer for the remaining amount after deducting the shipping cost.
