Cat H.-M. FUNG received her interpreter training at Gallaudet University, Washington DC, United States of America.  Holding a M.A. in Interpretation and two other degrees in linguistics, she has been combining her knowledge of sign interpretation and linguistics to develop local sign language interpretation training and deaf adult education, as well as to advocate with the local Deaf community and other minorities.  Apart from working as a frontline multilingual interpreter herself, she also develops training materials for sign language interpretation with emphasis on professional ethics. 

馮曉雯在美國嘉路達大學完成手語傳譯文學碩士學位後，結合手語傳譯和語言學的理論與實踐，近年開展本地的手語傳譯培訓和聾成人的進修課程，並與本地聾人和一眾小眾社群一同倡議人權之事。除了在前線擔任傳譯工作外，她還發展著眼於職業道德上的手語傳譯培訓教材。
