The first meeting of the volunteer Friends Of... group was convened and discussed a number of ongoing issues, foremost of which being the impending temporary removal of the advert hoarding which is due to take place in the near future following winter storm damage.

The group also set the date for the 2026 annual general meeting which will take place in the waiting room on 27th May to which all are welcome to attend.  Future plans were also on the agenda including improved signage and the proposed cattle dock.

With much activity on site including surfacing of the car park and replacement of the picket fencing, the group are very much looking forward to enhancing these areas upon completion of works with platform furniture, floral displays and period signage.
