Another successful season drew to a close with the final trains of the operating season on Sunday 2nd November, proving another busy one for the station and its volunteer group.  Trains had been operating five days a week throughout October and continued to be well patronised.

There has been much progress in 2024, including the reinstatement of the coal fire in the office, installation of a multi-fuel stove in the waiting room, the usual gallons of paint applied around the site and a number of smaller ancillary projects including waiting room signage.

2025 looks set to be another good year, with the surfacing of the car park and replacement of traditional picket fencing on the site both pencilled in for pre-season, and development of the replica cattle dock also on the cards.  Thank you for your support this year!
