Business Challenge
In 2020, I was hired as the 5th business employee at Frameplay, a pre-series A, intrinsic in-game advertising technology startup. The business employees at that time consisted of the co-founder/CEO, CFO (HR and Legal), Head of Sales, and Customer Success. There was no formality to strategic planning, product roadmap development, marketing, business intelligence and analytics, or ad operations.
Solution
Once Frameplay raised its series A in Q4 of 2021, we were able to hire much-needed talent. In the first 6 months of 2022, I grew the team from 3 to 22 people, recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and leading across the following disciplines:

2022 was an incredible year of growth for Frameplay in terms of operational excellence underpinned by revenue growth, customers served, brand-building results, market expansion (UK, Canada, rest of world), and overall team cohesiveness.
