Sandra Hui

Sandra has studied both piano and percussion for more than ten years. She is currently an undergrad at the University of California, San Diego, pursuing a BS in Computer Science with a Specialization in Bioinformatics. At UCSD, she has participated in Wind Ensemble and Muir Musical's production of Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. Sandra graduated from Monte Vista High in 2012. At MVHS, Sandra was a mentor and a director of Camp Allegro for a total of four years, the percussion section leader for MV's Wind Ensemble for two years, a pit captain of MV's Marching Band for three years, and a participant of the percussion ensemble and various musicals. She received the John Philip Sousa Award in her senior year, and has experience coaching the Monte Vista Front Ensemble. She has also played in the Contra Costa County Honor Band for two years, and she attended the La Honda Music Camp and the Cazadero Music Camp.
