Michelle's musical journey began when she was in the first grade. Her mom signed her up for piano lessons and Michelle instantly fell in love with playing music. As she became better at piano, her passion for music grew and she soon played trombone in both 4th and 5th grade at Sycamore Elementary School. Once middle school at Diablo Vista came along, Michelle wanted a new challenge and decided that she would learn how to play the tenor saxophone.
Michelle is now the first chair tenor saxophone in Wind Ensemble at Monte Vista and has been playing her saxophone for 6 years.
When not playing music, Michelle often spends her time listening to music (she loves Bruno Mars), doing school work for her junior year of high school, and spending time with her friends.
Michelle is also a Girl Scout and loves to be outdoors and help the community.
Michelle graduated in the class of 2018.
