Ashley Liao

Ashley first became involved with music when she began taking piano lessons at the age of 5. Music has been a part of her life ever since. She has been a part of various bands and music groups since she attended Alamo Elementary and Stone Valley Middle School. In 4th grade, she began to learn how to play the clarinet, in 6th, she learned how to play the oboe, and recently began to play the English horn.

Currently, Ashley plays the oboe and English horn in Monte Vista's Wind Ensemble and is a member of other groups outside of school including the Diablo Wind Symphony. She has also played with the Contra Costa County Honor Band and has attended Cazadero Music Camp as a camper as well as a counselor-in-training.

Besides music, Ashley also enjoys skiing, reading, and spending time with family and friends.

Ashley will graduate with the Class of 2022.
