Jackie Rogers

Jackie is a junior at Monte Vista. She partakes in three bands at school, playing percussion in Wind Ensemble and Concert Band as well as drum set in Jazz B. Outside of school hours, she has played in the County Honor Band as well as serving as Drumline Captain in MV Marching Band. She grew up in a musical household. Her mom played violin and was in Color Guard at Northgate while her dad played every instrument and was a part of every band in Monte Vista, also being the Drum Major. She has been a percussionist for 9 years. Some other instruments she has played are piano on and off for 10 years, violin, trumpet, and is learning bass saxophone.

Jackie enjoys finding new instruments in her dads closet and attempting to play them (which doesn't go well). She listens to a lot of musicals and loves the Disney soundtracks. She plans to join the Danville Community Band with her dad next year. Jackie is so excited to have a great week at Camp Allegro!
