Jackie Rogers

Jackie is graduating from Monte Vista in Spring 2026! She partakes in four bands at school, playing percussion in Wind Ensemble and Concert Band, Auxiliary Percussion in Jazz Ensemble, and the Drumline Captain of the Marching Band. She is also Co-President of Monte Vista Music Outreach and works with the district as a member of the Arts Advisory Committee. Outside of school hours, she has played in the County Honor Band. She grew up in a musical household. Her mom played violin and was in Color Guard at Northgate, while her dad played most instruments in every band at Monte Vista, also being the Drum Major. She has been a percussionist for 10 years. Some other instruments she has played are piano on and off for 11 years, violin, and trumpet.

Jackie enjoys finding new instruments in her dad's closet and attempting to play them (which doesn't go well). She listens to a lot of musicals and loves the Disney soundtracks. She is applying to music colleges for Music Performance and Music Education in hopes of becoming a Disney Studio Musician. Jackie is so excited (and sad) for her last, but great week at Camp Allegro!
