Ashley Gray

Ashley was born into a musical family and has loved music her whole life. She started playing piano when she was four years old and has enjoyed it ever since. She completed all ten levels of the Music Teachers Association of California’s Certificate of Merit Program where she was tested on repertoire, technique, ear training, and theory. Now she plays piano for fun.

Other than piano, Ashley is surrounded by all kinds of music. At Monte Vista, she started the “For the Love of Music” club that brought together fellow MV students to share their favorite music and create all different kinds of playlists on Spotify. Since her freshman year, she has been a part of the Color Guard which is the spinning and tossing of flags, rifles, and sabres along with the MV Marching Band. At home, Ashley has a 500+ vinyl record collection that she continuously adds to and plays in her free time.

Ashley will graduate with the Class of 2022.
