Social Security Speakers
Ask for a Social Security speaker. The page instructs groups to email our Regional Public Affairs and they will disseminated the request to the appropriate Public Affairs Specialist.
DFAS Contact Numbers
Any retiree or annuitant (the widow of a deceased retiree who is receiving an annuity) should call one of the Customer Care Center numbers - 800-321-1080 or 888-332-7411.
Only DFAS pay partners (RSO/RAO/CAR/CAO/BOS Admin/Etc. should be calling the hotline numbers.
866-622-4602 is if the field rep has a question related to a retiree’s pay.
877-813-6074 would be for anyone in the field who has questions about a widow (or children) related to Arrears Of Pay or an
Annuity account.

You can get to this site from any computer with Internet - try it at home. The intent is the Google Site should have electronic images of any piece of paper you need.
What makes the site so much more powerful than the shared drive is the search function. For example, if you search for “MyPay”, every paper that talks about MyPay is presented to you. Additionally, all the RAO FAQ papers are a click away. Much of the RAO stuff is available from both the office and your home computers. To perform a search, click the search icon on the top right of the image above and enter a search term.
