SIGNING UP FOR EXPRESS SCRIPTS

Express Scripts is the country’s largest pharmacy benefit manager and one of the largest pharmacies.  People that can use Express Scripts include those who have Express Scripts prescription benefits through their employer, health plan, or directly via Medicare Part D - military retirees fall into this group.

  You can sign up via a phone call (866-477-5704) or on-line at https://www.express-scripts.com/consumer/site/registration?partner=DOD  Where the online form asks for your “DoD Benefits Number” you can find that number on the back of your ID card where it says “Benefits Number”.

  Once you get registered with Tricare you can use your account to set up home delivery, order refills and many other things.  Your doctor can submit your prescriptions electronically to Express Scripts and you can set it up so Express Scripts automatically sends your refills with no request from you.  You can also find forms on the web site.  General info on Express Scripts is at the link below:
