Teachers will understand how Wixie can contribute to students' engagement with the content, the instructor, and with each other, while cultivating their 21st century skills. Teachers will be able to assign projects in Wixie to students, and provide them with feedback.
Wixie is an online publishing platform that promotes student voice and creativity. With Wixie, teachers can create project templates that include text and audio directions. Students can create illustrations with drawing tools or explore the Wixie library which offers thousands of stickers. Students can work individually or collaboratively. This is one of my favorite tools for use with kindergarten through fifth grade, and we'll explore it in detail in this training.
