Starting Equipment

All Planar Rangers get the following starting equipment issued to them. This equipment is in addition to your starting 1000Cr. You may decline any equipment you wish, though you may also leave equipment in your room on the ship rather than carry it with you at all times. All equipment is hyperlinked to relevant listings at aonsrd.com.

Weapons

Each Ranger is issued one of the following of their choice:

• Handaxe, Basic

• Baton, Tactical

• Knife, Survival

Each Ranger is also issued:

• Hail Pistol, Subzero

Armor

Each Ranger is issued one of the following of their choice:

• Second Skin

• Golemforged Plating, I

Equipment

Each Ranger is issued all of the following:

• Backpack, Industrial

• Extra Battery, Standard

• Comm Unit, Personal

• Portable Light, Flashlight

• Medpatch

• Tool Kit (Basic, choose one)

• 10Cr worth of clothing

• Canteen

• Gear Maintenance Kit

• Hygiene Kit

• Lighter

• Field Rations (1 week)

• 5 UPB

• Serum of Healing, Mk 1

Team Equipment

Each away team will be provided with one each of the following equipment. The team will need to decide who carries the equipment.

• Emergency Beacon

• Radiation Badge

If a Ranger is carrying a provided basic melee weapon, a Hail Pistol, light armor, and all issued equipment, that totals 3 Bulk (though the Backpack increases your Bulk limit by 1). If wearing the provided heavy armor instead, that totals 6 Bulk.
