Formative assessment refers to tools that identify misconceptions, struggles, and learning gaps along the way and assess how to close those gaps. Unlike summative assessment that held at the end of the instructional period, formative assessment conducted throughout the learning process which mean teachers can still formulate another strategies to enhance and improve their learning materials and ways to successfully make the students learn. Based on the activity that i made, the one minute in a bowl will surely make sense in evaluating students whether they really understand the lesson. in addition, the formative assessment i created will surely make an involvement of the students the teacher allowing them to express their ideas and understanding. As a future educator, it is important to me to apply the purpose and role of formative assessment, as it will help me to gather information and ideas on how to enhance, improve and think in a creative way to produce a teaching instruction that will benefit my student in the future.
