My understanding in authentic assessment, it always shows the capability and knowledge that the student learned by acquiring and performing. Through this picture, it is present on how students will have a fair examination through climbing a tree. For me, the examination the teacher had given was a bit difficult especially to those students who have different strengths and capabilities on showing and thinking of a way to climb the tree. The students may have difficulties on how to figure out how to climb the tree but they will learn a few lessons determining how they will climb a tree base on their strengths and weakness. On the other hand, the second picture shows the same. The assessment of a teacher that was given was difficult too. For me, giving an assessment today in the education system was a bit biased and not fair. Even though teachers want to know the capabilities and strengths of the students but the way they give assessment is not appropriate.
