The Vintage Aviator Ltd

Hangar Visit 17th to 20th February 2017

Based at Hood Aerodrome, Masterton in New Zealand, The Vintage Aviator Ltd. (TVAL) maintains both airworthy and static aircraft for museum display and private collections with the aim of absolute authenticity with the original design. Their engineers look after, and operate, WW1 aircraft owned by the 1914-18 Aviation Heritage Trust and solely manufacture aircraft from the 1914-1918 period. 

The main collection is housed in The Old Stick & Rudder Company hangar.

The collection is live so exhibits may change to those seen during this visit.

Built by Century Aviation of East Wenatchee, Washington State for TVAL who finished the aircraft, including the restoration of the original 400 HP Liberty V 12 engine, manufacture of the wheels and propellor, installation of the instruments and also the fabric covering and painting.
